Take a cue from Michael Kors’ and Phillip Lim’s Spring 2014 fashion shows and play up illuminated skin with a beautiful berry lip. To achieve dewy fresh skin, we suggest using a tinted moisturizer, with SPF of course and highlighting the top of your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose and the top of your cupid’s bow. This season, raspberry is the hot berry color. Line your lips with a complementary color and use a lipstick or gloss with vitamin E to keep your pout kissable.

If being on top of the hottest trend is your thing, follow the shows of DKNY and Tracy Reese, by sporting a perfect orange pout. If you’re not quite bold enough to wear orange lips, try a sister color such as coral or creamsicle. Believe it or not, there is a shade of orange to complement every skin tone. Trust us, we have tried every orange gloss and lipstick around. Pair these electric lips with a nude eye and black liquid winged liner. It is time to bring out your inner feline!

The movies are influencing life with the disco inspired makeup of Marc Jacobs’ SPRING 2014 show. Electric blue liner either smudged for a smokey eye, or precisely applied is perfect for a girl’s night out! This look can be payed up with glitter, or matte for more of a mod look. Either way, top it off with a few coats of your favorite black mascara.

Its hard to say which look is our favorite, but we are definitely in love with the metallic lids from the catwalk of Jason Wu. Depending on your skin tone, hair color and preference you can go with a silver, gold, rose gold or copper metallic lid. To give your lids a wet look, play around with a long lasting clear lip gloss applied to the center of your lids. The key to nailing a metallic look is by finishing it off with curled lashes. Ani’s hot tip is to curl you lashes between coats – make sure your lashes are dry other wise you will end up with the dreaded tarantula eyes.
